Regarding EeePC Friendliness:
I've noticed that some of the EeePC's Fn key switches (like Suspend, Internal/External Video, and Sound Up/Dwn) don't currently work with 2008.1 RC1.
Is there an initiative to have these functions working before final release of 2008.1? I've checked QA for bug reports regarding this issue, but failed to find any. So, I thought I'd ask here.

so, i think you should open a bug report to help development team to resolve those issues.

i've added a customized version of kde4 to show how can kde4 be with a few changes. if it cannot be fit in this page, remove it and write a note here.

[edit] Mandriva install on EEE won't recognise network
I have just downloaded and installed spring on my 901 and it will not recognise the ethernet interface and cannot load the ndis wrapper for the wireless network. Am somewhat paralysed at the moment with this. Is this the forum to ask for help? Regards
